Medical Tattooing for Burns & Cleft Lip - Natural Restoration with Realistic Pigmentation
What Is Medical Tattooing for Scars and Colour Loss?
Medical tattooing offers an aesthetic solution for camouflaging scars and colour differences caused by burns or a cleft lip (harelip). Using safe techniques, sterile needles and REACH-22 compliant pigments, the natural appearance of the skin and lips can be subtly restored.
Medical Tattooing for Burns
Natural Camouflage and Reconstruction
Depending on the severity of the burn, part of the scar can be camouflaged with medical tattooing. I carefully apply pigment to soften colour differences and to reshape facial features such as eyebrows or lips.
Second- and Third-Degree Burns
With second-degree burns, scars often remain visible despite healing. With medical tattooing / micropigmentation, these areas can be optically softened and recoloured. With third-degree burns, the deeper skin layers are damaged and a skin graft has usually been performed. In these cases too, pigmentation can help to visually even out the skin, within the limits of what is safe and achievable.
Medical Tattooing for Cleft Lip
Natural Lip Shape and Colour Restoration
A cleft lip usually leaves visible scars and colour loss. Medical tattooing (dermography) can restore the shape of the mouth, camouflage scars and recreate full lip colour. I carefully redraw the lips so that symmetry, shape and colour are brought back into balance. The result looks natural and soft.
How Does the Treatment Proceed?
During the consultation, I listen to your story and discuss realistic possibilities. I analyse the skin, scars and sensitivity and review any contraindications. Before treatment, the shape is carefully pre-drawn. This drawing work requires time and precision to create a harmonious mouth. We determine the lip colour together. If necessary, I use an эффектив and legally approved numbing method. The treatment takes approximately 2 to 3 hours, depending on skin structure, scar tissue and pigment absorption.
Aftercare and Healing
After the treatment, you will receive clear aftercare instructions. The colour will appear more intense during the first few days — this is normal and gradually fades. You can always contact me if you have questions. After 4 weeks, a touch-up session is scheduled and included in the price.
Longevity of the Result
A medical tattoo gradually fades over time and can be refreshed after 2 to 3 years for a lasting natural result.
A consultation is legally required and essential to define a safe and realistic treatment plan. Feel free to contact me for a no-obligation consultation.
